This is an awesome case and its the best one you can get at this price, bar none. Its surprisingly large and roomy for a mid-tower, very easy to work with. The interior is painted black and the quality of paint used is very nice. This case has provision for as many as 5-6 120/140mm fans i.e. 1 rear exhaust, 1 front intake, 2 side intake/exhaust and 2 top 140mm intake/exhaust. The two top fan mounts can easily hold dual radiators for water cooling setups. There are plenty of drive bays which are secured through provided rails and the entire case is almost completely tool-free. The case features a flipped internal layout, which means the PSU/SMPS is mounted at the bottom of the case, a rarity in this price range. There is a removable dust filter for the PSU fan which is a great addition. There are many gaps, holes and hooks to route wires through the back of the case for cable management. The 1 exhaust fan that comes standard with the case is white in colour and is dead silent. The accessories box bundles all the essentials with an impressive number of thumb screws. The power LED is an ambient blue light which illuminates the front of the case but is not bright enough to be distracting. So far so good, that covers all the important bits.
The few minor gripes i have with this case are:-
*The topmost optical drive bay cannot be utilized if you have 2 top fans installed due to clearance issues.
*It would be nice if the case had a transparent window/panel to really do justice to that all black interior. At the very least, the side panel from the NZXT M59 case should be an option since they two cases are practically identical save the front fascia and the side panel. The option of adding more fans would be nice too, as the case has provision for many and the bundled fan is excellent.
These are small cons for a great product though, and this case has features others twice as expensive lack. |
